Des Plaines Avenue Resurfacing (IDOT)

Paving is now complete as of June 6, 2023.  Striping of the roadway should be completed by June 9.
Restoration and punch-list items will commence following final paving; project is anticipated to be completed by the end of June.

15th Street Storm Sewer Installation (Between Circle and Marengo)

Storm sewer installation is now complete as of June 6, 2023.  Concrete work shall be completed by June 9.
Final Paving: TBD.


Roosevelt Road Resurfacing Project (IDOT)

Wilcox Street Watermain Replacement (Des Plaines Avenue to Railroad Tracks)

New water main installation is now complete as of June 6, 2023.
Pressure test will take place on June 7.
Sewer crossings and point repairs are anticipated to be completed by June 9th.
New water service connections to individual buildings are anticipated to be completed by July 31st.
Paving of roadway to commence shortly thereafter.
Property owners will receive project notices from Village’s Consulting Engineer.
Property owners can provide water service related information to Village’s Consulting Engineer on THIS WEBSITE.


Ferdinand Avenue Watermain Replacement and Roadway Resurfacing (Harrison to Roosevelt)

Week of May 15: Finishing saw cutting along Ferdinand.
New water main installation is anticipated to begin on June 12.
Sewer crossings and point repairs are anticipated to be completed by June 30th.
New water service connections to individual buildings are anticipated to be completed by July 31st.
Paving of roadway to commence shortly thereafter.
Property owners will receive project notices from Village’s Consulting Engineer.
Property owners can provide water service related information to Village’s Consulting Engineer on THIS WEBSITE.

900 Block Dunlop-Lathrop Alley Reconstruction

Week of May 15: Begin storm sewer installation.
Week of May 22: Complete storm sewer and connections.
Alley has been poured as of June 6, 2023 (though it is not open to traffic currently).  
Asphalt patching along Polk and driveways to take place during week of June 5.
Punchlist items to follow.  Reopening of alley will take place following completion of patch work.  

1100 Block Circle-Marengo Alley Reconstruction

Week of May 15: Pour mainline PCC pavement (16 foot width).
Week of May 22: Pour PCC aprons and place misc. HMA and stone as needed.
Alley opened to all traffic on May 26, 2023.
Project along with punch list items anticipated to be completed during week of June 12th weather and production and timely delivery of materials depending.
