Restore IL – Governor Pritzker’s Tier 3 Resurgence Mitigations ~Effective November 20th~

Governor Pritzker announcement regarding the State of IL Tier 3 Mitigation Plan.

“With COVID-19 spread now exponential in every region of the state, our statewide positivity rate at record highs and hospitalizations already surpassing our Spring peak, all 11 regions will move into Tier 3 effective November 20, 2020 at 12:01am. The new mitigation requirements to combat the surge of COVID-19 across Illinois are as follows:

~Retail (including service counters)  ~Personal Care Service   ~Health and Fitness Centers   ~Hotels  ~Manufacturing  ~Bars and Restaurants  ~Meetings, social events and gatherings (including weddings, potlucks, etc.)  ~Office  ~Organized group recreational activities (sports, indoor sports and activity facilities, etc.)  ~Indoor recreation, theaters, cultural Institutions (e.g. casinos, bowling, arcades, movie theaters, museums and zoos)”

Cook County COVID-19 Programs ~Resident Cash Assistance & CEDA Utility Program

  • Resident Cash Assistance Program, provides one-time payments of $600.00 to support residents who have experienced an economic hardship related to COVID-19.  The program is open to those whose income is at or below 250% of the federal poverty level prior to March 1, 2020 and experienced further hardship due to the pandemic.  Applications are available online only at: https://relief.uptogether-develop.org/suburbancookcountyfund

 

  • Community and Economic Development Association of Cook County, Inc. (CEDA) Program, provides utility payment relief. These utility programs are open to all residents of Cook County. There are on-line applications for separate utilities:   Gas & Electric, Furnace Repair & ReplacementWater Assistance.
