Overnight Parking Passes,
please call 708-366-7272. Passes are accepted between the
hours of 8 PM & 2 AM. Only five passes can be issued within a thirty day period of time. You will need the license
plate number, make of vehicle and where the vehicle is parked.
Snow routes are in effect whenever there is two or more inches of snow on the ground. No vehicles can be left in a snow route when it is applicable. Additionally, roll off dumpsters cannot park in a snow route between December and March at any time. Please call the Parking Division if you have any questions.
The Forest Park Police Department
has 38 sworn officers. This includes one Chief, one Deputy
Chief, three Lieutenants, seven Sergeants, and 29 full time
Police officers.

The Forest Park Police Department’s Communications Division’s
goal is to provide an efficient and reliable “Customer
Service Orientated” environment. The responsibilities
of the Communication Officers include dispatching of all Police,
Fire and EMS personnel. In 1975 Forest Park was one of the
first communities in the nation to institute 9-1-1. And today
our dispatch center supports an enhanced 9-1-1 system. Forest
Park was one of the first communities to have an advanced
form of dispatching technology called Computer Aided Dispatch
or CAD. Today our department continues to stay on the cutting
edge of law enforcement technology with GPS mapping, CAD,
enhanced 9-1-1, and much more.
