Registering to Vote:

The Village of Forest Park has several Deputy Registrars on hand. Please feel free to stop by Village Hall and register to vote today! (2 forms of identification required)

Early Voting:

This is the first year for the implementation of Early Voting. You can take advantage of early voting between February 27th and March 16th, 2006, at Village Hall. Unlike absentee voting, you need not give any particular reason for voting early and it is open to any registered voter, not just those who don’t intend on being around on Election Day. A valid, state issued, identification card or drivers license is required.

Absentee Voting:

Absentee Voting ballot applications and envelopes are available at Village Hall. Absentee Voting will be conducted from February 27th through March 20th. Those voting absentee are required to provide a reason for their absence.

New Voting Ballot:

Many of you are accustomed to the “punch card” type of ballot. As part of some new voting equipment being introduced this year, optical scan ballots will be used. It sounds a bit more complicated than it is. The ballots are much like standardized tests. You simply fill in the circle next to your chosen candidate with a pen.
