To file your appeal, you may come into the Township of Proviso office in Hillside, located at 4565 Harrison Street, anytime between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Staff will assist you in completing the necessary paperwork.
You may also choose to file your appeal online at www.cookcountyassessor.com however, in using this option, you are unable to send them attachments.
Last, you may attend the Property Tax Appeal Seminar hosted by Mayor Calderone's Office of Public Affairs being held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 8th at the Howard Mohr Community Center. This seminar is co-hosted with Proviso Township and the Cook County Board of Review. Be certain to bring along your property tax bill or PIN number.
